About the Craft:?Abhyudaya has been working for the livelihood generation of women of Bhati Mines area, Delhi, since 2005. Rati Singh acts as the activist cum coordinator for these village women and ensures that they fulfill their commitments as per their timelines and get their dues. Around 40 to 50 women, engaged by Abhyudaya, work on the craft of patchwork embellished with Kantha stitches. Also, a large number of these women are extremely competent in traditional Sindhi embroidery and crochet work.
