About the Artisan ::Santa Begum incepted Santa Kantha Arts & Craft with her husband in Birbhum district in West Bengal. They’ve been associated with Dastkar for over 7 years. They began with 10 women artisans and now support over 60 women artisans. They produce beautiful stoles, dupattas, sarees, bed sheets, shawls etc in the typical hand stitched kantha embroidery style of the eastern states of India.
