One of the commitments Dastkar has had towards crafts and craftspeople has been to upskill traditional artisans to match the pace of the competitive and dynamic market trends. To ensure they stay relevant and reliable to sustain livelihoods through crafts, Dastkar organises workshops and training programs for crafts people across India in areas of design, sales and marketing, linkages, capacity building amongst several others. Through these workshops craftgroups have created an exclusive range of products curated under the design leadership of Laila Tyabji.
