Membership & its Scope:

  • You can sign up for a single WhatsApp shopping session or the annual plan which will entitle you to 20 sessions over 12 months. Annual members can book upto 3 slots per Bazaar.

  • This program is only valid for Bazaars held in Delhi.

 

The Process:

Before the WhatsApp Shopping Session:

  • Some time during the first day of the Bazaar you will be sent a overview of the Bazaar on WhatsApp in the form of videos and photos.

  • On the basis of the overview, you can choose to book a WhatsApp shopping slot with us. You can choose up to 3 stalls (from the overview) and you can get more information and buy from those stalls during the assisted shopping hour.

  • If time permits, we will try and share more pictures and videos from your selected stalls before the WhatsApp shopping hour starts.

 

During the WhatsApp Shopping Session:

  • Each session can last upto 1 hour. During this time, you will be allocated a personal shopping assistant who will work exclusively with you to help you shop from your selected 3 stalls. You can ask them for more photos of things you are interested in and also details like colour, material etc and of course prices.

  • While we won’t be able to do a video call, the shopping assistant will be happy to send you photos and videos to help you with the decision process.

  • By the end of the hour, you can let us know if and what you wish to buy and we will start the packing and billing process.

  • For product categories requiring special handling and packaging, such as pottery and glassware, additional packaging fees might apply. We will inform you about these packing and handing charges before we make the invoice. These charges (distinct from shipping costs) will be reflected on the final invoice.

 

After the WhatsApp Shopping Session:

  • Once you confirm purchase of products, we will send you a WhatsApp message with 1.the invoice and the photos of the items selected within an hour of your purchase confirmation message 2.QR Code for the payment

  • You can make payment using the QR Code or do a bank transfer using the following bank details

  • After we receive confirmation of payment, we will start the packing process and let know once the items are ready for pick up.

  • Please note that we will keep the selected items on hold for an hour from the time we send the invoice. If we don’t receive payment in an hour, we will assume that the transaction is cancelled.

 

Delivery / Pick up:

  • We encourage customers to arrange for pick up of purchased items.

  • We will, of course, be happy to assist you with the pick up process. You will have the option to use your personal arrangements or local delivery apps like Porter, Borzo, Uber, Rapido etc.

  • We will let you know all the details (including pick up point, pick up contact person and phone number etc. ) that will be need to be input in the app.

  • We will send you a message once we have handed the items to the pick up person.

  • Should the customer wish for us to arrange delivery to a Delhi/NCR address, then we will use a local delivery app with cash on delivery option. Additionally, we will add a nominal charge of INR350/- to the invoice.

 

Return & Refund Policy:

  • Refunds apply only for damaged or incorrect products.

  • The return request has to be made by WhatsApp within 24 hours of pick-up. We will not be able to entertain any return/refund request post 24 hours of pick-up.

 

Please Note: With our craftsperson's assistance, we will try our best to communicate colour, shape, texture and form of the products over WhatsApp. However, as the actual colours, etc that you see will depend on your screen settings and we cannot guarantee that your display of any colour will be accurate. We seek your understanding in this matter and we will be unable to accept returns on the basis of minor variations like color etc.

 

  • In case of returns, we will refund the entire product cost and upto INR200/- for shipping charges.

 

The WhatsApp shopping sessions are another step in Dastkar’s constant endeavor to bring the craftsperson closer to you. We want to thank you for your support and patience in making this new program a success!
