About the Artisan:Kavita Lomror is an Indian enamel jewellery designer, who reinterpreted enamel jewellery by giving a historic craft of Meenakari a contemporary aesthetic. Rooted in a centuries-old tradition introduced to India through Persian influences and perfected in royal ateliers, her work blends heritage techniques with modern design. 

About the Craft:Each piece of her handmade enamel jewellery is crafted through multiple firings at around 800�C, where layers of finely ground glass fuse onto metal to create a smooth, luminous surface. With over twenty years of experience, Kavita embraces the natural unpredictability of the process, allowing colours and textures to evolve in the kiln- making every piece truly one of a kind. A jewellery that is vibrant, weatherproof with modern appeal, bringing new life to the traditional art of Meenakari.
