About the Craft and Artisan: Set up in 2002 in Bhagalpur, Bihar, Weave Crafts cultivates cocoons to extract silk threads which are then weaved by women, whom the organisation provides employment to. Presently nearly 275 women work for the organisation, weaving pure silk, mulberry, Ari Monga etc into sarees and dupattas.
