About the Craft and Artisan : Parmesh Kumar Vishwakarma, started his company Vishwakarma Handicrafts in 1999, in Konnagar, Kolkata. Started with just a two person team, now he has 12 people working with him. Materials such as wood, sea shell, bone, horn etc are used to create a variety of products such as a range of tables, cutlery and crockery – taking about a day or two to make a table.
